Haitian Coffee from Nord farmers
$16 - 12 oz bag
Our coffee beans are USDA certified organic. They are shade grown, hand picked, dried, and sorted, all in the region of Nord, Haiti. Grown in the limestone/ clay soil, at a high elevation, and under the heavy shade of Haiti’s remaining tropical forest, this high end Arabica Blue Mountain bean produces a coffee unlike anything most people have ever tried.
The Haitian Blue coffee strain is the ancestor to the world famous Jamaican Blue Mountain, and it is an heirloom to an ancient Ethiopian strain. The level of acidity in their coffee is one of the lowest in the world, which gives Haitian Blue coffee a unique velvety tranquility that coffee beans were meant to possess. It is smooth, sweet, and nutty with a very clean finish. Instead of bitterness, you get a buttery-sweet mouthfeel.
